The best tips, tricks, and recommendations on how to free up a ton of your iPhone storage! Hope you enjoy!

Hello, everyone! You're watching Theal Tac, and if your iPhone storage is full or almost full, you're in for a treat with this video. I’m going to teach you a simple tip to free up a ton of storage on your iPhone. So, let’s get started!

First, open your iPhone settings, scroll down to “General,” and then tap on “iPhone Storage.” Here, you'll see a graph that gives you an overview of your storage usage. Whether your storage is almost full or just a little occupied, it's always crucial to free up as much space as possible. A fuller storage leads to a slower iPhone, so keeping your storage optimized helps ensure a fast, lag-free experience.

Next, scroll down a little to see a list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. This list is sorted by the apps that take up the most storage. Now, take a look at the apps you don’t use often. Instead of deleting them, we’re going to offload them. Offloading an app doesn’t remove its documents and data, so you won’t lose anything important. For instance, if I tap on the CapCut app, I’m given two options: “Offload App” and “Delete App.” In this video, we’ll focus on loading.

Offloading an app frees up the storage taken by the app itself but keeps the documents and data intact. For example, in CapCut, which is a video editor, offloading the app will remove the 360+ megabytes of app storage while preserving all your projects and files. When you reinstall the app later, all your data will still be there. This is a great way to free up space without losing any important content.

You can offload any app that you don't use frequently. If you have games or apps that you only use occasionally, go ahead and offload them to reclaim valuable storage space. For example, offloading a game could free up 1.45 GB without losing your game saves or progress. Remember, offloading is different from deleting. Deleting removes everything, while offloading only removes the app itself, keeping your data safe.

After offloading a few apps, if you want to see the space freed up immediately, it might help to restart your iPhone. Just power it off and on again, and the freed-up storage should be visible right away when you return to the iPhone Storage screen.

That’s it! With this simple tip, you can free up a significant amount of storage on your iPhone without losing any important data. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one. Bye-bye!
